Transmitter is aluminum body with cylindrical bore; a turbine driver, flow straightener and measurement assembly are put on a shaft and installed in the bore; for use in aircraft flow measuring systems; operates with a fuel flow indicator to show rate of fuel flow, total fuel used, or both; no external power is necessary for the transmitter; component maintenance manual 73-35-36 pages 1 and 2 feb 15/02 figure 1; supplied mounting is a flat surface i a rectangular electronics compartment on the transmitter for 2 magneticv pickoff coils and a skew (swirl) rudder; electrical connector receptacle keyway is on outside of electronics compartment and a cover fits on the electronics compartment
